  • The Rameshwara temple complex in Narasamangala dates back to the 8th century and its architectural design reflects the Gangarasa architectural style
  • Narasamangala is a small village in Chamarajanagara district. The Shivalinga, which is probably made of black stone and is 6 feet high and 12 feet in circumference, is installed in a narrow sanctum. The navaranga here is spacious and has 9 columns. The Vimana Gopura is notable for its resemblance to the Mahabalipuram sculpture in Tamil Nadu. The colossal Ganapati here is rare in this region. There are Beautiful Sapta Matrika idols and inscriptions donated to this temple by Hoysala Veeraballal.
