Vijayanarayana Temple

- The Vijayanarayana (Janardhana) temple is believed to have been built by the Hoysala Vishnuvardhana.
- It is a structure of various stages built between the 11th and 15th centuries. The temple has a Sukhanasi Navaranga and Mantapa in the basic design. The original idol of the temple is smaller than the idols of Belur and Talakad. The special attraction of the temple is the Vijayanagara period mantapa in front of the temple.
