Specific Objectives of KVK:

1. To develop knowledge and skills among farmers on dry land farming practices through watershed approaches.
   
   
2. To develop knowledge and skills among farmers in cultivation of field crops.
   
   
3. Such as Jowar , Ragi and Paddy.
   
   
4. To develop knowledge and skills among farmers in cultivation of oil seeds and pulse crops like groundnut and sunflower cowpea, red gram, horse gram, black gram and Bengal gram under rainfed conditions.
   
   
5. To develop knowledge and skills among farmers in cultivation of commercial crops mainly on cotton, sugarcane & tobacco.
   
   
6. To develop knowledge and skills among farmers in cultivation and maintenance of fruit & plantation crops.
   
   
7. To develop knowledge and skills among farmers in cultivation of vegetable crops.
   
   
8. To train farmers on scientific management practices in Dairy farming, poultry farming ,sheep and goat farming.
   
   
9. To impart knowledge and skills to farmers on improved practices in mulberry cultivation and silk worm rearing practices.
   
   
10. To improve knowledge and skills to farmers on the use of improved agricultural impleaments relevant to the area.
    
    
11. To develop knowledge and skills to the rural woman in home science and village /cottage industries.
